Default Global Agenda

I typically gather information about MMOs on another forum I'm involved with and for any of you who are looking for a new game because Aion wasn't right for you here is one that is coming out in about a week.

Official Site
Global Agenda

Release Date
February 1st, 2010

Purchase Location
Steam

Pre-Purchase Info

Pre-purchase Global Agenda on Steam and receive the following benefits:
  • Participate in the Global Agenda Beta – Players that pre-order will gain access to Global Agenda beta events in January. Note that the beta servers are available for play only during specific play test windows, and that tests may be limited to only certain game features. To participate in the Global Agenda beta, you must register your Product Key online at the Global Agenda website following your pre-purchase. Registered beta participants will receive specific test instructions prior to each Closed Beta test event, as the events are announced.
  • In-Game Items – Players that activate their Product Key on the Global Agenda website prior to February 1, 2010, will receive a special in-game helmet captured from the Commonwealth, as well as a flair item celebrating Global Agenda’s "No Elves" marketing campaign.
  • Reserve Your Player Name and Agency Name – Gain access to Global Agenda’s pre-launch “Name Reserve” event, in which players are given the opportunity to reserve their in-game name ahead of launch day (exact dates for the Name Reserve event to be announced). Players that also pre-subscribe to the "Global Agenda: Conquest" gameplay will be able to reserve an Agency name during the Name Reserve event.
  • Pre-Download the Game – Download the game early to ensure you are ready to play immediately at launch.

About the Game

2155. From the ashes of the devastating Third Great War rose the Commonwealth, an oppressive world government determined to control the entire planet. The few remaining independent factions retaliate the only way they can, with elite teams of special operatives trained in advanced warfare tactics and equipped with high-tech weaponry. The future of humanity is their battleground, where knowledge is power, technology is a race, and everyone has a Global Agenda.
  • Create your agent - Create, customize, and develop multiple agent characters, complementing your FPS skills with accessible RPG-style progression. Unlock weaponry and cutting edge devices including jetpacks, grenade launchers, mines, deployable turrets, stealth suits, holographic decoys, robotic droids and HUNDREDS of others.
  • Co-Op with friends online - Four players share the same online mission experience - working as a team, communicating via built-in text and voice chat, infiltrating facilities, defeating end bosses, and earning technology upgrades.
  • Compete in fast-paced, multiplayer matches - Teamwork and tactics are paramount within objective-based game types designed from the ground up to support intense and balanced player vs. player combat.

Included with optional Conquest subscription package
  • Conquer persistent territory - Player formed agencies compete for scarce territory, resources, and technology on a persistent world map. Create and upgrade facilities, attack and defend territories, and engage in Base Raids, production, politics and deception on your way toward world domination.

Nice copy and paste? XD
I was actually signed up for Global Agenda, but decided to pass on all betas n such until at the very least I get fenris. QQ still a ways to go.
It has a bit of promise from what I've seen. Hopefully they have some nice support, unlike Aion

Some is copy paste from main site yes. It's easier to organize everything in a post than to expect people to go read around different sites. You'd be amazed how many questions come up about a game that is clearly written on the page when you just provide links :/

PS. No we are not moving to this.

Well it was in beta long before aion was even close. Makes me laugh thats its only reaching its release date now. It could easily have had changes made that may have made it better than it was. Wouldnt throw it out over my comments.

i played in the alpha before, and i didnt like it it wasnt the bugs or the memory hogging, the mechanics and design of the game just isnt very appealing. it reminds me of hellgate london and that game failed too!

Hey! HGL was fun as hell! Until it just started failing like u said xD I blame that on them more than the game though, it could have been pretty cool imo

i luuuuuved farming tower of abbadon and occulus, picked up 3 hikidas and 2 lees. the game was really addicting with its random loots for about two weeks, but then there was nothing left! multiplayer was a joke and the bugs and loading just killed it for me hopefully global agenda will do better!

From what people have said about the Alpha of this game. It's nothing like that from what I've experienced with live.

Your loss.
